At Vintage Surfari Wagons we make it happen, offering our restored VW camper buses from the '70's, with re-vamped retro interiors that feature tropical prints PLUS all da'kine goodies to keep you onna road, Brah!
You'll have your cool bus for cover as you surf great historical surf spots all day, prepare and enjoy your own delicious grinds in the camper's galley, while warming your feet by an evening campfire. Later, settle into the cozy bed, snoozing under the starry night sky, and awake renewed to the soothing sound of the breakers in the morning.
Experience the California beaches where modern surfing got it's re-birth. Cruise lookin' like a local to such places as Malibu, San Onofre, Santa Cruz, Huntington, Swami's, Windansea, Redondo, Secos, Rincon, and many, many others. Dude! Your dream is waiting... live it!
Maybe you'd prefer to take a drive up the incredibly spectacular Big Sur coast, traveling at your own leisurely pace. Go visit the awe-inspiring Giant Redwood Forests, or see the unbelievable power of Yosemite Valley while gazing out of the picture window that is your camper's side door. How about taking a few days exploring the solitude and grandeur of Death Valley (in the proper season of course!), or Joshua Tree, or the Anza-Borrego. Oh! And you should not miss the towering majesty of the Eastern Sierra Nevada and the Owens Valley... OK, where else?
So many places to go, and that's just in California. Follow your sense of adventure, where ever it might lead you! (Except, regrettably, travel to Mexico is not available.)
We are located on the Orange County Coast, in the middle of Southern California. That puts us within an easy hour's travel or so to all regional airports between Los Angeles and San Diego. If you are thinking of making a journey through our part of the world, Diane and I would be glad to act as your hosts. We can also serve you to, or from San Francisco on journeys of 2 weeks or longer. (One direction only, fee basis.)
