I hope all is well.
It was so fun to rent the VW for the weekend of our wedding and to have as our get away car. Definitely a hit with our friends and family from Ohio!
I felt right at home in that bus!

Hi Bill,
I can't thank you enough for going above and BEYOND with all your help with our trip. I still am in shock about you driving my beloved iPhone to Anaheim for me.
Mom had a wonderful 60th birthday. We got to see so many sites around San Diego in one of the coolest rides! Callan still talks about Rell Sun, someone asked me if that was a person. I had to answer yes & no. For Callan Rell Sun will just always be "our" VDub. This trip was a long time coming and was not as planned but it was awesome. Rell had no problems, drove and drove for us. Highway 101 in a VW Bus - what more can you ask for? We'll have amazing memories for a lifetime.
I attached some pictures of us with Rell. One of my favorites is the one where Callan could not stay awake anymore - too much vacation! Callan is working on some artwork for you. We'll get it into the mail for you shortly.

I wanted to leave you with something fun for the weekend! I spotted these vintage VW campers over at one of my favorite blogs, Please sir, and I had to share with my vintage brides. Snail Trail is a company based out of London that rents vintage campers, trailers and even this adorable red Fiat 500 available for special occasions and photo shoots. The first thing that came to mind was how fun it would it be to rent one of these cuties for a bachelorette party? Though the caravans have quite literally a little more mileage than the VW campers and are mostly available for photoshoots only, the VW campers are perfect for road trips. Each camper has their own name and quirky personality, and seats 4-5 people.
